Beamtree and Health Roundtable’s Workforce Wellbeing Expert Advisory Group release paper

Monitoring and supporting the wellbeing of health workers is a pressing need facing healthcare organisations.

Beamtree and Health Roundtable have released Recommendations to sustain our humans in healthcare: Words to action; surviving to thriving, a discussion paper aiming to provide actionable items that mitigate burnout and enhance healthcare worker wellbeing across Australia and New Zealand.

In June 2023, Beamtree and Health Roundtable held the Workforce Wellbeing Expert Advisory Group workshop with 35 senior healthcare leaders to develop recommendations to address common themes and identify barriers to sustain the wellbeing of the workforce. As a result of this workshop the group identified five themes and 14 key recommendations to help sustain the healthcare workforce. These recommendations are included in the discussion paper.

Recommendations to sustain our humans in healthcare: Words to action; surviving to thriving contributed to discussions at the Organisational Response to Workforce Wellbeing event held on 12 September 2023 in Sydney, Australia.
